How to Be Successful By Failing More
Rejected
Shot Down in Front of a Crowd
Phew.
Had a blast the other night bustin out a lil Country 2 Step & West Coast Swing.
It’s virtually a given you’re going to meet pretty girls and chill people on the dance floor.
This night something happened I wasn’t expecting.
(But we all face it in one way or another.)
I stepped off the dance floor and noticed a girl sitting by her lonesome at the bar table.
I remembered seeing her earlier dancing by herself so I figured I’d ask her to dance since no one else had.
So I strolled page a large crowd next to her, put out my hand, smiled and said,
“Would you like to dance?”
She looked up at me and replied,
“I don’t like this song”.
Goodness gracious.
I don’t even know what was playing, it’s all the same to me.
“Ok, how about the next one then?” I threw out without skipping a beat.
“No.”
By now the crowd had stopped talking and were all staring as the Doctore stood there empty handed.
Zing!
“Ok, have a nice night” I managed to say as I backed away.
Later my buddies started asking what I was going to do now that I was blown off in front of everyone.
Umm… nothing?
It happens, it’s natural and comes with the territory.
Some chicks say no.
The reasons don’t matter, most the time they’re outta your influence anyways.
But you still ask.
You still move forward.
You don’t stop at the first no and scream “OMG this is all over with I’m done!”.
That would be silly.
Besides, you’ve dealt with the same thing.
(Maybe you’re even struggling with it now)
Whether it’s a new job, new mate, or new workout.
It’s NEVER smooth sailing from start to finish.
There are always NO’s.
The fellas who succeed are the ones who keep moving forward in spite of NOT in absence of.
And when you ingrain this mindset via the lessons taught in A Spartan Rises.
You become truly unstoppable.

“Over the years I’ve tried several other popular weight training programs, but quickly lost motivation and never stuck with them past a month.
With Ryan’s Spartan training program this hasn’t been a problem. I’ve been consistently working out for over 4 months and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. I actually look forward to working out!”
