Sixpack Longcuts
Ok time to share the speaking stick.
Let’s see what the recruits have question on today.
This one came in from Avishek:

I heard from some of my friends that it’s better not to do abdominal workout because if I work abs and if then for some reason I couldn’t do it for few days then I’m gonna gain much fat in the abdominal area. Is it true?? Should I just do cardiovascular and strength training excluding abs ?
I’m really confused need your advice.

One of the great things about this job is all the crazy myths I hear, and then wondering where do they come up with this stuff?
Like your example from “friends” advice.
Total nonsense.
Your abs are a muscle like every other in your body.
Don’t fear workin’ em.
Ok let’s try another…

I got a question do cardio or crunches really help to get abs or just eat right?
===
Getting a nice set of ripped abs won’t come from ONE particular thing.
Many fitness gurus like to pinpoint the ‘reason’ you don’t have abs is because you’re missing ‘magic secret effect x’.
*sigh*
The real reason a guy doesn’t have abs is cuz he has a flaw (usually multiple) in his approach.
Until he is aware of the specific elements involved, isolates and fixes them, he’s gonna be wasting effort.
Cuz there is a SPECIFIC PROCESS (i.e. step-by-step method) you can follow that will guarantee abs show up.
Yes, IN TIME.
Doesn’t happen overnight.
(awwwww)
But with the combination of the proper food intake, energy training and exercises (I neverrrr do crunches btw).
It’s all taught in structured, real simple manner inside A Spartan Rises.
And it’s not for everyone, cuz you guessed it… TAKES WORK.
Boys believe shortcuts exist.
