Workout Lies Men Tell Themselves…

I hear them over and over again.

Yea sure sometimes the wording is a bit different…

But the meaning behind the words is the same.

Excuses, excuses, excuses.

They snake their way into my e-mail day inbox in & out.

Lies men tell themselves as to why they’re not stronger or have a physique they’re proud to display at the beach.

I’m a student

I don’t have extra money

I’m busy with work

Life is crazy right now, but next month I’m starting

*sigh*

Here’s the real scoop.

There is ONE and ONLY ONE reason a guy does NOT have a body stacked with lean muscle.

Because…

He has CHOSEN not to make it a priority in his life.

End of story.

Does that mean he’s a terrible human being?

Hardly.

It simply means this man has DECIDED taking care of his strength & vitality is not important.

The problem arises when he LIES to himself with one of countless victim excuses.

Take money.

Soooo silly to say I don’t have money & that’s why I’m not in shape (Because I can’t buy the program, gym membership, etc..)

Simply not true.

He could cut back on expenses (ie – drop the six packs of beer & coffee for a month), work extra hours, hop on Craigslist to find some odd jobs.

The possibilities are literally ENDLESS.

Is it easy?

Not at first… but it does get easier as you stick with it.

So no, it’s not because he doesn’t have money.

It’s because he hasn’t CHOSEN to make himself a priority.

I find that choice of thought strange because the bigger and stronger you are the greater helpful impact you can have on this world and the people in your presence.

Your strength is the tide that rises all ships.
